Century PR worked with Pailton Engineering for four years with the objective of not only raising brand awareness but positioning the company as a voice in the industry.
Due to commercial sensitivities conventional PR opportunities were limited. As such we focused on a mix of thought leadership articles on specific topics relevant to their marketplace, topical issues such as training, skills and apprenticeships as well as investment announcements.
Awards too – national, regional and trade – became a key activity to showcase the company’s success. Multiple award wins followed which placed the business at the forefront of the marketplace.
It was a strategy which paid multiple dividends not just in terms of increased awareness but also positioned the company and its senior management team as a ‘voice in the industry’.
The company was featured extensively in the national media and its Managing Director was regularly called upon to provide comment on a range of business-related issues such as export, training, apprenticeships and skills retention to name but a few.
One of the highlights and indeed most measurable results was a full-page article in Pailton’s local press featuring the company’s investment and recruitment plans which resulted them winning a multi-million contract with a premier OEM.
