Indeed the relationship developed into a partnership spanning 18 years, an indication of the ongoing success of the PR campaign where measurable results were acheived locally and nationally.
Century had a wide ranging brief managing the profile of LTI which included the launch of new taxi models, organising media launch events and regularly liaising with the local, national and taxi trade press as well as London Taxis International dealers throughout the UK. This included supporting LTI regionally with the objective of lobbying local authorities through PR and the media to make the distinctive cab mandatory. The agency also created the well known ‘Taxiwise’ lobbying campaign which raised awareness of the importance of taxi safety particularly for women, regularly achieving national and broadcast coverage.
High profile publicity coverage was also consistently achieved for the globally recognised London taxi from TV and radio coverage to the national media.
Throughout the successful 18-year relationship between London Taxis International and Century, the taxi industry went through many changes.
